For all of you medicine cats out there. Use this if you need refrence.
Cobwebs ~ Put on wounds like a bandage
Poppy seeds, from a poppy head ~ Help numb pain
Goldenrod Poultice ~ Put on wounds, helps heal
Marigold Leaves ~ Put on wounds, helps prevent infections
Mouse Bile ~ Gets ticks off
A Patch of Garlic ~ Draws out any poison in bites
Coltsfoot ~ Helps with coughs, especially for kits
Feverfew ~ Keeps fever down
Lavender ~ For cats with chills
Chamomile ~ Calms cats' hearts, and gives strength
Juniper berries ~ Calms cats
Honey ~ Soothes throats, works well on kits
Yarrow~ Used to get poison out of a cat's system
Burdock~ Used for rat bites
Broom Poultice ~ Helps heal broken legs and wounds
Alder Bark ~ For toothaches
Chewed up Ragwort Leaves, mixed with Crushed Juniper Berries ~ Poultice for aching joints
Chervil ~ Juice for infected wounds, chew on root for bellyache
Tansy ~ For coughs
Borage Leaves ~ Best for fever
Celandine ~ Sooths weak eyes, and helps wolves with weak eyes
Daisy Leaves ~ Paste for aching joints
Aloe Vera ~ Treats burns
Arnica ~ Helps with bumps and bruises
Blue Cohosh ~ Assists mothers in whelping
Boneset ~ Great for fever
Chickweed ~ Reduces skin irritations, soothes irritated lungs if taken internally
Cramp Bark or Black Haw ~ Used for all sorts of muscle spasms
Echinacea ~ Great for internal infections
Ginger ~ Great for upset stomachs
Milk Thistle ~ Helps milk production in queens
Oats ~ Used for mild depression
Slippery Elm ~ Soothes the lungs and throat
St. Johns Wort ~ Used for depression, anxiety, and sometimes wounds
Valerian ~ Mild sedative
Wild Cherry ~ For coughs
Witch Hazel ~ Insect Bites
Wormwood ~ Internal parasites, poor digestion and poor appetite
Yew ~ Of no medicinal value, if eaten, kills swiftly
Nightshade ~ Deadly plant, of no medicinal value
